LG&E and KU FAQ
The Optimized EV Charging program offered by LG&E and KU is designed to provide incentives to customers that allow us to optimize their EVs charging to limit the impact of EVs on the grid.
This program may adjust the daily charging schedule you have set on your vehicle. You can always override and charge right away at any time.
We may also adjust your charging during up to 10 demand response events each year. Customers that opt-out of the demand response events may be disenrolled from the program.
With the Optimized EV Charging program, you can earn $25 for enrolling plus an additional $5 monthly participation incentive.
