In addition to the $275/kW performance incentive, you can apply for a zero interest 7-year Heat Loan for the cost to install your battery storage system. To apply for a Heat Loan, please visit this site after you have a battery storage system installation proposal.
Battery storage systems can help you prepare for a power outage. We will not call on your battery to provide peak load relief when large-scale power outages are forecasted.
By enrolling in the ConnectedSolutions battery program, you will be paid for allowing National Grid to use the energy stored in your battery at times of high demand. On average, customers earn $1,500 per year in this program. However, actual incentives paid are based on the performance of battery storage systems during peak events. How well a battery storage system performs depends on the battery storage system size, configuration, and internet connection. Please consult with your battery storage system installer to estimate your Connected Solutions incentives.
